Hurtful

A friend of mine that is in the army is coming back to town for a few days.
I learned this by reading this on our friend's wall on fb... not by her telling me.
How hurtful.

When she was in basic training, I sent her letters.

Oh, well.

She invited our friend to go shopping. Once they remember highschool, I have
a feeling they will probably stop by or call me, telling me they want to stop by.

My feelings are hurt. Anyway, this is life... a whole big learning experience.

My freebies from last week.

Not Happy

A couple years ago I lost about 60-65 lbs and was so happy. I loved buying new clothes and trying on my old ones to see how much of a difference it was.

Well, since then, I have gone through depression and gained a lot of it back. I hate it.

I'm not happy with me. And the only one who can change that is me. So three days ago I started exercising again... feeling better about myself a bit.

I didn't want to weigh myself because I was scared of getting very depressed over it and stopping what I just started. But I need to know my progress.

I weighed myself today and I am just so disappointed. I could of put a stop to this a long time ago and prevented this. But, today is a new day, as they say, and I am doing it right.

And if you have a family member doing this too, trying to lose weight or get better in anyway... be supportive. One of my brothers accused me of doing the "not eatting diet". Which, he isn't here when I eat so he wouldn't know. I feel like he wants me to fail.

And yes, I am eating. I know better than to do something stupid when it comes to changing my life style. Remember that I have lost weight before and I did it the healthy way. Exercising and eating healthy.

New Favorite Hand Lotion

For weeks Vaseline, on their facebook, have been having giveaways at certains days and times. The first 50 who sign up on those days win/recieve a free product from them in the mail.

I have been doing this giveaway for about 2 months and have won 3 products.
This is how I found my new favorite hand lotion.

The product is 'Vaseline Healthy Hand & Nail Conditioning Hand Lotion'. I love the smell and it doesn't get my hands greasy.

Halloween!

Halloween is just around the corner, are you all dressing up? One of my bestfriends has a halloween costume party, this is the 4th year and this year I am dressing up as Cleopatra. I'm excited. I tried a test run with my makeup this morning but I'm not sure this will be the look I will wear on Saturday.

Headache

Headaches are rough.

I have been getting them since elementary and still... it pain is never dulling. I hate it.
I feel like I need to look into getting a new over the counter medicine to take for them. I have been taking advil for the longest time but it doesn't seem to take any pain away anymore.

Cheer Giveaway

Cheer was having a giveaway last month where at certain times they would have prizes you could claim on a YouTube video.

I was luckily enough to snag some prizes.

I was planning on posting this photo earlier because I was (still am) waiting for 5 samples of Cheer to come in the mail.

Some people are posting on the Cheer facebook page that they called Cheer since their emails weren't being answered and found out that Cheer had no information on them ever winning so no, they will not get their expected prizes. How shitty news is that? But what can be done?

Freebies from this Week

These are all the freebies (free samples) that I recieved this week. I'm super excited and happy with this outcome. It takes a while to get things in but it's worth it.

Unfair

So many things in life are unfair, and there is nothing you can do about it.
Well, you can complain, which is what I am doing now, but it's doesn't really get you anywhere.

How awesome would it be to have a sound proof room so you can yell and b*tch and moan all you wanted without worrying about others hearing you?

Jewelry Organization

I love seeing how others organize their jewelry and makeup.

It's probably because I'm a bit nosey and I love being organized.

Here is a photo I took of my two shelves that I have for my jewelry.

On the first shelf are two damask design boxes that I bought from HobbyLobby. One box has pocketbacs from BBW and the other one has nail design tools.

I also bought the black hand from HobbyLobby and I bought it to display all my bracelets and some of my rings.

Also on the shelf are stacked boxes that I bought on sale from, you guessed it, HobbyLobby. That is also where I bought the damask candle.

On the second shelf I have a black velvet neck display I bought -on sale- from Michaels, and have some necklaces that I made.

 

Along side that is my jewelry box my brother got me for christmas one year from Target.

On my jewelry box are two cameo earring stud holders that I bought from eBay. They were less than $5 and very worth it.  I love finding deals from eBay but part of what sucks from buying on there is having to wait to get things. I have had to wait a month for an item to come in from hong kong.

Next to that is a spinning jewelry organizer that I bought from eBay for less than $10.

Tooth Pain

Tooth pain is the worst. I recently had to get a rootcanal, which stopped
the pain on one tooth but now another tooth in the back is giving me so
much pain.

I barely got any sleep last night. I kept praying the pain would stop and
for the advil to kick in.

And FYI, if I had the money I would go to the dentist today.

Do you all have any home remedies to stop tooth pain?

VocalPoint is also a great website to join.

They have this section on their website called "Try and Tell", where if you are
qualified and one of the first ones to request the product, they will send you
either a coupon for the free product or the free product by mail.

From this site, I have gotten a free trash bag and coupons, a coupon for Downy
Unstoppables [which are awesome and I love], Mots for Tots coupon and a Bounce
dryer bar coupon.

After they send you the product or coupon, you go online and tell them your opinion
of the product and that's it. No payment whatsoever.

Love this site.

Samples & Coupons

I'm unemployed right now. I graduated from college in May and decided to take summer off and now that I started looking for a job, there is nothing open. It sucks but there are much worse that can happen.

Because I'm umemployed, I love finding deals to save money. Not that I have a lot btw.

You would be surprised at what companies give away now-a-days.

On the upside of looking for deals is that you become aware of how much money you are spending and how much you waste on things you don't need. Which is something everyone should learn early in life.
