October Birchbox 2014

Here is what I recieved in my October Birchbox. I liked it BUT(!) people were getting a beautyblender in their Birchbox... wish I were lucky enough to get one. 

Nails of The Day

I love this nail polish!

It's my favorite color and only needs two coats, it's called 'Wednesday' by Zoya. I also added a half moon design with Color Club's 'Harp On It'.

I loved this box. I received a Tocca hand cream, a Hello perfume sample, a Chapstick, Macadamia healing oil spray,  Avene face wash and temptu highlighter.

August Birchbox 2014

I received my August birchbox early. 

Not really happy with the shampoo and conditioner samples. I did like the lotion and liquid eyeshadow. 

It's only $10 a month so it's not too bad.

Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser

I recieved a sample of the Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser in my birchbox and ended up buying the full size. 

I love it. It has a lemon scent and sugar in it for the scrub. 

Right after my first use I could tell a difference in my skin. 

I recommend this to anyone. It's a must buy.

Nail Art

I don't know why I've never posted on here about my nail polish love. 

I had a really bad habit of biting my nails and finally had enough. Painting my nails was the only thing that finally got me to stop me from biting them.

April Ipsy Glambag 2014

I received my Ipsy bag for April and I am, once again, disappointed. 

I received Elizabeth Mott eyeshadow in Champagne, Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet eyeliner in 'black velvet', MaryKay jelly lip gloss in 'teddy bare', St. Tropez gradual face tan, & Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion. 

Out of the 5 items I am only excited for 2 of them. Which 2/5 is a failing grade and I also hated the bag design. I wish they would of done something black and white with music notes all around. 

I'm sad to say I canceled my ipsy subscription. I had an ipsy subscription for one year exactly. Looking back on all my bags I was never happy with everything I got. 👎

They make you think by doing the quiz and reviewing products that every bag is costumized to you. I emailed them about this months ago and they said the reviews and quizzes don't really make a difference. 

March Ipsy Glambag 2014

I received my March Ipsy glambag today. I got a Pixi primer, a nailpolish Nicole By OPI called "On What Grounds?", a very tiny lipstick sample of BareMinerals & a quad eyeshadow by BeABombshell. 

The bag was designed by an artist and I really like it (so tired of the pink already).

Pros: I love the lipstick color and size (the size because it fits anywhere). I love the bag design, it's unique. I love the colors of the BeABombshell quad but it's not something I would wear. 

Cons: The Pixi primer smells like sunblock. The nailpolish has a texture to it, which I am not a fan of so it went to my niece.

Naked 3

My birthday was this week and my sisters got me the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. She ordered online so I had to wait a few days to get it. 

Well, I opened it and noticed one of the closers was broken. :( 

I called my local sephora and they don't have any in stock and won't for a few days (maybe more than a week). 

I then contacted Urban Decay about it. They had me send them pictures of the poduct and the recept. 

They said for me to ship it to them and then they would ship me a new one. Ugh. I told them that I didn't have time for that and that, that was inconvenient. 

So, yeah. I have to wait for it to be in stock. But the palette is beautiful and I can't wait to start playing with it.

Yay!! I won these three Zoya NailPolishes. I won Maria Luisa, the gold topcoat, from an Allure Magazine giveway. I won the other two nail polishes from Zoya's twitter #tunetues giveaway, I won Chyna, which is a red pixiedust & I picked Tinsley, a rose gold polish. Love these!!

January Ipsy Bag

 

I hated my ipsy bag, once again. I received, yet again, a makeup brush by coastal scents and makeup wipes. Boo!! Crossing my fingers for next month or I will be canceling.
