Back Pain

I've been having a bit of back pain for about two months now and three days ago it got way worse. I'm not really sure why it started to hurt so bad because I didn't fall and I was not in an accident. 

I've been stuck in bed with a heating pad and I hate it. I don't have health insurence, so going to the doctor is out of the question. I've been researching it and most people say that their doctor just sends them to someone else to get an X-ray and just give them pain killers.

I have walked and stretched but that only makes it worse. Not really sure what to do at this point. 

Oh, and something people don't write about when they are injured... How do you all wipe?!? I can't even wipe after using the restroom and get in so much pain trying to do so. I looked for things to buy to help but most of them have a bad rating. 

Anyway, I hope this blog finds you well.

UPDATE: My back is finally feeling much better. I had started using ice, instead of heat, to numb the pain. So if you are going through this... use ice.

Dr Scholl's Active Series

I received these from Influenster and really like them. They fit perfectly in my shoes and are super comfy. I love that they are pink, too! The only bad thing I noticed was that they make my feet sweat when you don't wear these with socks.

Once again, I didn't enjoy anything in my bag but my nieces did.

August Ipsy Bag

I received Pixi mascara, Chella eyebrow pencil, Noya chapstick, Michael Todd face mask & Pacifica face cream.

I am a little disappointed with my Ipsy bag this month. A lot of other Ipsy subscribers got a urban decay lipstick that was worth way more than the Noya chapstick I got. I am also disappointed that I got the Pacifica face cream, when I specifically put on my quiz that I don't like getting them. Hopefully I'll be able to trade it with someone. 

I do love, love, love the bag this month. It makes me think of Harry Potter.

Warped Tour 2013 S.A.

This past weekend, I went with my niece and brother to warped tour to see her favorite band 'Black Veil Brides'. 

Sadly, we didn't get to stay to watch them perform. We got there at 9 AM and they didn't perform till 6:35 PM. We had to leave because I got dehydrated. And yes, before you ask, I did drink a lot of water and ate. It was just way too hot, it was about 104*. 

They don't really have a good place to cool down at warped tour, which they should really change for everyone's safety. They also should put up more empty tents so people can take cover from the sun and make some of those tents a no smoking zone. They should also let people leave and come back in. I hate that once you leave there is no reentry.  

While we didn't get to see the concert, my niece did get to get to see the band and get the bands (Black Veil Brides) autograph on a poster. We got there early enough to get a wristband for their signing (had to buy a $15 shirt in order to get the wristband). Luckily their signing was at 4:00 PM but we did leave right after that.

One note about the signing that I think was stupid... The band was in a tent that no one can see into, so my brother couldn't take pictures of my niece meeting the band. (They didn't allow pictures.) Four out of the five band members didn't even look up and say anything to her. They just signed the poster and gave it to the next person to sign. The only one who looked at her and said something was Andy Biersack, her favorite band member. 

I did hear a new band I'm loving 'For The Foxes' and I did see Andy myself. He walked right by me when I was on my way to the emergency section. :) I did a crazy arm movement to get my niece's attention and pointed at him while he hightailed it out of there to his bus. He's gorgeous.

Overall, I'm glad my niece got to see them but so disappointed that we had to leave early since we drove over three hours to see them.

I bought a nail polish in Teal Blue, slant tweezers (surprisingly great),  mineral lipstick in Rich Raspberry (great color) , Waterproof Eyeliner Pen, Bake Eyeshadow in Enchanted (regret buying), a Lip Exfoliator (LOVE IT), a blush in Tickled pink (regret buying), a Stipple Brush and a Makeup Remover Pen (LOVE IT).

All together $25 with free shipping. 

Over all happy with my order but I wish I could go back and choose different colors in the blush and eyeshadow. 

Which Eyeslipsface products do you all love? My favorite has to be their Makeup Mist & Set.

Some of these are also things I won.

Eyelash Curler Cut My Eyelashes Off

I bought an E.L.F. EyesLipsFace eyelash curler at biglots this weekend. I was so excited to use it since it has good reviews. I opened it right when I got home and used it on one eye. 

I felt like something was wrong and looked at the eyelash curler and noticed hair on the rubber part. I looked in the mirror and saw a part of my eyelashes missing. It's not something I would cry over - I'm just pissed. I'm posting this because I want to warn others to be careful when using this product.

I contacted the company on Sunday, right after it happened and was emailed back the very next day, which was just amazing costumer service.

Influenster Spring VoxBox

I was super excited at finding out I was picked to receive the Influenster Spring VoxBox last month. It came with 5 products, which were a Secret Outlast deodorant, a Schwarzkopf Osis+ product in Gelastic texture, a set of impress nails, a TastyKake Kandy Bar in S'mores and a NYC New York Color lip gloss in Applelicious.

 

I love everything is this voxbox and couldn't be more happy with it.

Secret Outlast Clear Gel

 

I received a Secret Outlast Clear Gel in my Spring VoxBox. I really love the smell and how long this worked for me. I'm not really one that's into a gel deodorant but I do like this one. No marks on my clothes and it helps me smell great during the day.

 

 

Broadway imPRESS Nails

I received these beautiful Broadway Nails impress in my Spring VoxBox. I really loved the design and packing. But! And they is a huge BUT... the biggest thumb nail they put in this package doesn't fit my thumb nail. I couldn't even put them all on my nails. I was so disappointed!

 

I luckily tried to see which would fit before I tried to place them on and saw that it wasn't going to work and was able to give them to my niece, who used them for her talent show. They looked amazing on her and you couldn't even tell that they were press on nails. She was so happy with them.

 

 

Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Hair Product

I received the Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Hair Product in my Spring VoxBox. I received the gelastic texture product and I really like it. I don't use a lot because a little goes a long way. The only downside is that I'm not too fond of the smell but my nieces like it. 

 

 

TastyKake® Kandy Bar Kakes

I received my Voxbox and in it came a sample of TastyKake® Kandy Bar Kakes. I got the s'mores one to try out and it was so good. Equal parts chocolate and cream. Not sure of the price, so I'm not sure if I'll buy them or not. I will if I find a coupon for sure.
